Supplier price file upload
Review the first file from each supplier. Later routine price updates apply automatically. Changes greater than 10%, added or missing products, product codes, units, column mappings, errors and duplicates require review. Automatic imports have a summary and rollback.
Maintain supplier prices from a CSV or XLSX file supplied to your business, rather than treating a supplier name as a live catalogue connection.
Before you start
Availability: Starter plan and above. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.
Where to find it: Integrations > Supplier price file upload.
Open Price book > Supplier price files. Choose the supplier, confirm whether prices include tax, then upload the file and check the proposed product-code, description, unit and price columns. Header suggestions are not a verified supplier format.
Using this guide in United States
- Choose your business country when creating a new account. For an existing business, check the country in Business settings before entering addresses or preparing documents. Some country changes are unavailable for existing businesses, even when new accounts can sign up in that country. Changing the public website region does not change your business settings.
- Check the business currency (USD), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
- Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.
Step by step
- Open Price book, then Supplier price files and add the supplier.
- Upload the first file or configure allowed email senders. Confirm the columns and review the file.
- Read the result for each later update. Open Review file when an exception needs your approval.
- Use Roll back automatic update to restore prices. If an item changed afterwards, rollback stops without changing anything.
Worked example
Review the first file for a supplier and confirm the mapping. A later file with the same products, units and mapping and ordinary price changes can apply automatically. A price change greater than 10% or another exception is held for review.
This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.
Check the result
Read the import result and inspect the changed items. Review added, removed or recoded products, changed units or mapping, duplicate codes, errors and unrecognised units before approving the update. Existing live-feed-owned products also require review.
Limits and troubleshooting
The first file always needs review. Routine later updates are automatic only when the review policy allows them; an upload or queued status is not proof of an applied update. Roll back automatic update restores recorded changes only when the affected values still match that import; later edits stop rollback rather than being overwritten. Importing prices does not place an order or establish live supplier pricing.
