Sales pipeline
Shows every enquiry and quoted job as a card in Enquiries, Quoted, Won and Lost, with its lead source, value ex GST and lost reason.
See every open enquiry and quote in one place, and record why work was lost.
Before you start
Availability: Starter plan and above. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.
Documented roles: Owner, Office. A role name alone does not override the permissions set by your business.
Where to find it: Customers & Bookings > Sales pipeline.
Make sure quotes are attached to their jobs and sent from AllQuote, so cards move on their own. Review the lead sources and lost reasons in Sales settings.
Using this guide in Canada
- Choose your business country when creating a new account. For an existing business, check the country in Business settings before entering addresses or preparing documents. Some country changes are unavailable for existing businesses, even when new accounts can sign up in that country. Changing the public website region does not change your business settings.
- Check the business currency (CAD), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
- Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.
Step by step
- Open Jobs and choose the Sales tab. Filter by period, lead source or responsible person.
- Cards move on their own when a quote is sent, accepted, declined or expires. Won always needs a recorded acceptance on the quote.
- Use Move to on a card (or drag it on a computer) to mark it lost with a reason, or to reopen a lost card. Reopening asks why.
- Set a value on an enquiry that has no quote yet. Changing a value asks why, and the change is kept in the card's history.
Worked example
A quote for a hot water replacement is sent, so its card moves to Quoted. The customer goes with another plumber, so you choose Move to, Lost, pick "Went with someone else" and the open quote is declined at the same time.
This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.
Check the result
Open the job and check the quote's status matches the card. A lost card shows its reason; an expired quote shows "Expired - reason not recorded" until you add one.
Limits and troubleshooting
Won is never set by hand: it needs the customer's acceptance recorded on the quote. Reopening a lost card or changing a value asks for a reason and is kept in the card's history. Values are ex GST, and amounts follow each person's permission to see sell prices.
