Automated quote follow-ups
Emails a reminder when a sent quote has not been accepted or declined.
Remind a customer about a quote that has been sent and remains open.
Before you start
Availability: Starter plan and above. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.
Documented roles: Owner, Office. A role name alone does not override the permissions set by your business.
Where to find it: Customers & Bookings > Automated quote follow-ups.
Review the Quote follow-ups setting in Automations, the recipient and the quote state. Enable it only when the business intends reminders to be sent.
Using this guide in Canada
- Choose your business country when creating a new account. For an existing business, check the country in Business settings before entering addresses or preparing documents. Some country changes are unavailable for existing businesses, even when new accounts can sign up in that country. Changing the public website region does not change your business settings.
- Check the business currency (CAD), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
- Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.
Step by step
- Open Automations and leave Quote follow-ups switched on.
- Send the quote to the customer. Follow-ups only run for quotes that were sent.
- AllQuote emails the reminder on the scheduled days while the quote is still open.
- Turn the automation off when a business should not chase open quotes.
Worked example
For a sent quote awaiting a response, review its follow-up schedule. Turn the automation off if the customer has asked you not to chase the quote.
This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.
Check the result
Check the quote state and recorded delivery outcome. An accepted or declined quote should not be treated as an unanswered offer.
Limits and troubleshooting
A reminder does not accept a quote or create a customer commitment. Delivery depends on account confirmation and the configured email service; a scheduled reminder is not proof of delivery.
