Schedule, work, and completion status
Keeps job status, schedule dates, assigned crew, timesheets, materials, files, invoices, and completion checks together.
Use the job's Overview, Work and Money areas as the coordinated record for office and field activity.
Before you start
Availability: Free plan and above. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.
Where to find it: Jobs > Job > Schedule and work.
Prepare the site details, planned dates, crew allocation and agreed scope. Confirm who is responsible for recording labour, materials and completion evidence.
Using this guide in Canada
- Set your business country in Business settings before entering customer addresses or preparing documents. The country selected on the public website does not change an existing business.
- Check the business currency (CAD), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
- Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.

Step by step
- Open Jobs from the sidebar and choose the job.
- Use the Overview tab for customer, address, dates, crew, and status.
- Use the Work tab for labour, timesheets, materials, and job activity.
- Use the Money tab for invoices, deposits, costs, and margin, then update the status when work is finished.
Worked example
For a two-day repair, schedule the crew in Overview, record time and materials in Work, and review costs and invoices in Money as work progresses.
This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.
Check the result
Check dates and assignments against actual work. Confirm that files and notes support the completion status and that the money view includes the relevant costs and invoices.
Limits and troubleshooting
Changing a status alone is not evidence that every task, invoice or payment is complete. Review the related records and applicable completion checks before closing the work.
