Before you start

Availability: Plan and role requirements vary. Enabled business features, role permissions, connected providers and supported devices may add requirements.

Documented roles: Owner, Office. A role name alone does not override the permissions set by your business.

Where to find it: Review your plan and billing.

Confirm that you manage billing for the intended business. Read the current pricing page rather than relying on an old amount.

Using this guide in United States

  • Choose your business country when creating a new account. For an existing business, check the country in Business settings before entering addresses or preparing documents. Some country changes are unavailable for existing businesses, even when new accounts can sign up in that country. Changing the public website region does not change your business settings.
  • Check the business currency (USD), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
  • Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.

Step by step

  1. An authorised billing manager opens Settings > Billing and checks the business and current subscription.
  2. Compare the displayed plans, usage and inclusions before selecting a change. Role permissions and optional feature settings still apply within an entitled plan.
  3. Read the confirmation or billing-provider page before authorising a paid change. Return to Billing and check its confirmed status.
  4. If a result is uncertain, inspect the existing subscription before starting another checkout.

Worked example

A billing manager reviews the intended business subscription and usage, compares the current plan inclusions and returns to Billing to check an existing checkout result before starting another payment attempt.

This is an illustrative scenario. Use your own approved scope, quantities, rates and business rules.

Check the result

Reopen the original record or confirmed result, check its business and key values, and resolve any error or uncertain response before repeating the action.

Limits and troubleshooting

Viewing a plan does not activate it. A checkout or pending payment is not a confirmed subscription, and a plan change does not grant every staff role access.
