Review a takeoff on the mobile app

Review plan pages, measured quantities and material totals on site while keeping editing and calibration in the web workspace.

Before you start

Use an account with takeoff access in the correct business. Prepare and save the drawing, calibration and measurements in the web takeoff workspace before reviewing them on the phone.

Plan eligibility, business features, permissions and device support still apply. Reading a guide does not grant access.

Step by step

  1. Open Takeoffs from the available app navigation or the job/quote takeoff section. Select the intended saved takeoff.
  2. Check the plan identity and page before reviewing its image. Compare the listed measurement labels, values and units with the scope you are checking on site.
  3. Review each page rather than assuming that one visible plan includes every sheet. The measurement list remains important when an annotation cannot be drawn over the page.
  4. Inspect material quantities and units and, where your access permits, the displayed totals. A quantity alone does not verify the material specification or supplier price.
  5. If the drawing or measurement needs correction, return to the web workspace, make and save the change there, then refresh the mobile view.

Worked example

An office estimator measures a garage slab and courtyard finish separately on the web. On site, an authorised user checks the saved plan pages and quantities on the phone, then asks the estimator to correct a changed boundary in the original takeoff.

This is an illustrative scenario, not a customer testimonial.

Check the result

Confirm the drawing revision, page, quantity and unit. Use the web workspace for calibration, new measurements and comparison of drawing revisions.

Limits and troubleshooting

  • The native takeoff viewer is read-only. It does not provide the web editing toolbar, calibration or revision-overlay controls.
  • Unavailable images or an offline placeholder do not mean the plan was deleted. Reconnect and refresh; do not infer a correct overlay position from a missing annotation. Compare the measurement list with the original web drawing.

Business settings in United Kingdom

  • Set your business country in Business settings before entering customer addresses or preparing documents. The country selected on the public website does not change an existing business.
  • Check the business currency (GBP), time zone and document tax settings. Only enable tax collection if your business is registered and the settings match your requirements. Your customer invoice tax settings are separate from tax on your AllQuote subscription.
  • Screenshots use demonstration records. Their sample currency, addresses and tax amounts do not override your business settings.
  • Check the drawing units, calibrate against a known dimension and confirm the ledger unit before applying a material rate. An address or website country does not convert a drawing, assembly quantity or supplier rate. For volume, use consistent area and depth units before checking the cubic quantity.
