Find jobs and recurring visits on mobile

Use the Jobs filters and search to locate saved work without confusing a quote, recurring agreement and individual visit.

Before you start

Check the active business and your role. Field users see the work their access permits; a missing record is not automatically a failed save. Have the job number, title, customer or address available.

Plan eligibility, business features, permissions and device support still apply. Reading a guide does not grant access.

Step by step

  1. Open Jobs. Select All first when looking for a record whose status you do not know.
  2. Clear the search box, then search for a distinctive part of the job title, customer, address or reference. Multiple search words narrow the list together.
  3. Use Active for unfinished work and Complete for completed jobs. Switch back to All if a status filter hides the job you expect.
  4. Use Recurring to find the recurring agreement or parent work. Open the relevant record and check the individual visit and scheduled date before assigning or completing it.
  5. Pull down to refresh when connected. If a saved-data or offline message appears, treat the list as the device copy until it refreshes successfully.
  6. Open the matching row and check its job number and site. If a recent creation was uncertain, return to the New job recovery controls and check the original save before trying another creation.

Worked example

Several maintenance visits can share a title. The office checks the recurring agreement, visit date and job number rather than deleting similar-looking rows. A separately prepared quote is located through its quote workflow rather than assumed to be a new job.

This is an illustrative scenario, not a customer testimonial.

Check the result

Confirm that the record belongs to the correct business and visit. A matching title or creation time alone cannot establish that two records are accidental duplicates.

Limits and troubleshooting

  • Clear both status and text filters before concluding a job is missing. Check connectivity and Sync centre, then ask the owner to verify allocation or permissions if the record is still unavailable.
  • Do not delete similar records as a troubleshooting step: invoices, visit history and allocations may refer to different jobs.
